Like everyone in Westport I am shocked and saddened by the death of Robert McKibben who was just 32.
I was at school with Robert who was a bright, intelligent and funny guy who had loads of friends. I am sure he really enjoyed the camaraderie of the army.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
I would like to extend my sympathies to his family.
